Plays first AHL game!

VRC graduate,  Brandon Wong played his 1st AHL game on April 3rd for the Grand Rapid Griffins vs. the Abbotsford Heat.

Brandon played 4 years on a scholarship with Quinnipiac University.  Prior to university, he played 3 seasons in the BCHL with Powell River, Merritt and Surrey.  Brandon played his entire minor hockey life with VRC.  Brandon's father, Randy, is this year's recipient of Racquet Club's Jack Hagan Award for Coach of the Year!.  Randy returns to VRC this fall to coach the Bantam Teir I team
