VRC is pleased to announce Dave Cunning, Bantam Tier 1 Head Coach.

Originally from Kelowna, BC, Dave Cunning comes to VRC after previously serving as Head Coach of the Bantam AA Okanagan South Zone Knights and the ’05 West Coast Selects Hockey Teams. In 2018, he was voted Kelowna’s “Best Local Coach” in KelownaNow’s annual Best of Kelowna contest. 

 Dave’s playing career saw him lace up for Lyon HC in France, Briercrest College (ACAC), and the Creston Valley Thundercats (KIJHL), and he has also scouted for the BCHL’s Chilliwack Chiefs and the KIJHL’s Castlegar Rebels. Dave lives in Saanichton with his wife and son, and works as the Manager of Athlete Development for BC Hockey.
